27th-Mile Celebrate Victory Bash
Celebrate your finish at the award-winning 27th-Mile Celebrate Victory Bash hosted by the Champaign County Convention & Visitors Bureau, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28. The event will be staged on Kirby Avenue, between First and Fourth, directly south of Memorial Stadium.
This lively street festival is complete with live music, plenty of local eats and refreshing drinks, and activities for all ages—a great place to meet up with family and friends. Stop by to pick up your Wooden Nickel, good for exclusive discounts on dining, shopping and more!
We’ll make sure you get information about the can’t-miss places to explore around town. It’s simply the best post-marathon bash ever!
Wooden nickels will be available at the Health & Fitness Expo, April 26-27, at the UI Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) and at the 27th-Mile Celebrate Victory Bash.
The 27th-Mile Celebrate Victory Bash took home the Illinois Excellence in Tourism Award for Best Event or Festival at the 2011 Illinois Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
