Volunteers

The 2013 Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon will require nearly 3,000 volunteer team members for a safe, fun event for the runners. In addition to some fun in the C-U community, each team member receives a Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon t-shirt and drawstring backpack!

We hope to fill all volunteer spots by March 30th to allow adequate time to prepare our volunteers. Of course, register early to guarantee your favorite position!

Join our Course Intersection Team
The Course Intersection Team members are the beating heart of our volunteer team. These team members enhance the runners' race course experience by monitoring intersections for potential traffic and/or pedestrian-related issues. This position will also ensure that runners stay on the right course as well as provide encouragement and support to the runners. Training will be provided prior to the race.
